Therapy is about learning something new about yourself, but also unlearning old habits, changing, letting go, listening deeply, and adventuring into the wild territory of your inner landscape.

Trauma is very common as we are all vulnerable to experiencing various degrees of shock which is accompanied by feeling unsafe, powerless and overwhelmed; whether this happens in the context of a relationship or not, we all know to some degree what trauma feels like because it changes our physiology, and distortions in perception and cognition persist over time.
